Default Syracuse has an Abundant Supply of Fresh Water

THE SYRACUSE AREA WILL NEVER RUN OUT OF WATER!

Why?

Abundant supply of fresh water from Lake Ontario!!!!

The Syracuse area has access to a huge water source - Lake Ontario.....one of the Great Lakes...which is 7,540 square miles in size.

The water supply for the Syracuse suburbs is piped in from Lake Ontario, Otisco Lake, and Skaneateles Lake. (The city's water supply is primarily from Skaneateles Lake.) As the South and West fight for more water rights, all the water needed to run businesses and build new homes is right here in the Syracuse area.

OCWA supplies public water to 340,000 consumers in the Syracuse suburbs/area.
Central New York's Water Authority, OCWA

(Note: The City is not served by OCWA.)
