Hi. I am a senior transwoman and I want to move to Syracuse from the Watertown, NY area. Looking for an LGBTQ-friendly apartment complex or neighborhood either in the N. Syracuse/Liverpool/Camillus areas, or in the city. Would prefer suburbs. Would like to move by Fall 2017. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would say that if you want the suburbs, DeWitt may be another or better option due to its University influence/proximity.

In the city, Hawley-Green comes to mind, perhaps the Westcott/University area of the Eastside and perhaps the Sunnycrest Park area of Eastwood(which had/has a relatively high same sex household percentage(source: Mapping America ?
