It depends on were you will be working. If you work in Syracuse then Homer becomes your choice. It is about 2 miles from Cortland with a village,Town square atmosphere. And route 81 is at the village edge about a half hour commute to Syracuse. I did it for many years.if however you you work in Ithaca than Dryden would be your choice.

How are the property taxes in Cortland and Homer on an average size home, on say 1/2 acre thanks
