Funny....it states "come home to Syracuse"! Yet the organization is funding a pilot program that provides $5,000 mini-grants to entrepreneurs and emerging small businesses relocating in the "12 county, Central Upstate New York region"!

Hmmm, 12 counties? The Syracuse CSA is only four counties. Every outside of Onondaga, Cayuga, Madison and Oswego counties are not "Syracuse" (in ANY way shape or form).

Sorry, Central New York is NOT 12 counties.

I sent an email to the Come Home to Syracuse program on a whim, to see if they could help me, as a recent college grad, with ideas on how to stay around Syracuse and not have to search out a job in Philadelphia, New York City, or DC.

What I got was a reply from a staffing agency (!) that said they didn't have any positions that fit my profile.

Maybe this was a fluke, so feel free to explain. I'm as big a supporter as any of the underlying idea of the project.
