Same here, been in Vegas several years, and the wife and I were looking around PA and VA but we realized we were looking for a place to replace home and to be honest there isnt any place besides the Syracuse area that we would consider home

Default hoping to head back to upstate myself

are you originally from that area-I was originally from the utica area, but dont want to return there-syracuse seems to offer a few more options, and after 27 years in a bustling metropolitan area, I dont want to put myself through too much of a culture shock-but I do want a slower, less crazy environment with lakes, near canada, etc

Born and raised, moved to Vegas a few years ago. Cant wait to get back

Capital area is the most prosperous area upstate.
