Also, you must be in Presidential Plaza or are you in a loft?

I am looking in the northern suburbs, but I may change my mind. I don't want to spend more than $300,000, but if I find the right house, I could spend up to $400,000. Had it been 3 years ago, I could have spent more, but I have decided to hunker down for the next few years.
The place I am renting is a loft, with an excellent view of the non-existent skyline.

You can definately find something for less than that in the Northern suburbs. Heck, the house next to me is only selling for $97,000 and it's a nice, cute house. You can get something really nice even under 300,000 in that area.

Yup, just go to say Thornden Park, Burnet Park or Schiller Park during the day. Definately some nice views of the skyline from those parks. Try driving on Hiawatha Boulevard over Onondaga Creek or over by the Inner Harbor and look towards downtown. Nice view.
