Default finally in syracuse!

I just moved to Syracuse, and here are my first impressions:
-people here are pretty nice for the northeast
-better drivers than in Boston
-I feel like I am doing the city a favor by moving here
-the city has a gritty feel (not a bad thing IMO)
I could be wrong, but these are my initial observations after living here for a week.

Sounds spot on for downtown in winter... summer will be a completely different experience, for the better. If you get a chance, spend some time in Kitty Hoynes and/or Coleman's (just down the street on Tipp Hill) when they have a show.

Did you buy a home or are you renting?

Are you employed? If so, in what and how did you find the job?

I am renting an apartment, and it is a 5 minute walk to Armory Square. I am going to start House-Hunting in a few weeks. I found a job on the internet at the University Hospital, and I have been walking to work (15-20 minutes).

Are there many homes for sale? Or am I going to have a hard time finding one?

There are PLENTY of homes for sale in the CNY area. It just depends on what you are looking for.

So what are you looking for in a property?
