I took a night skyline shot that I wanted to post, however the city lights look too blurry. The parking lot of the new Kinney Drugstore at LaFayette Road and Seneca Tpk offers sweeping views of the Syracuse skyline and Onondaga Hill.

There's 2 ways to fight the blur. the first is the obvious tripod. The second is to use the timer function. Put the camera on something stable like a rock or the roof of a car, and then set it on a delay. That way your finger pushing the button won't vibrate the camera and make the picture blurry, because it doesn't take the picture until a few seconds later.
