We, his family are having a fundraiser for him:
[SIZE=3]Our remarkable brother, John Stapleton is awaiting a heart transplant and is currently in the Transplant Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York where he has been for over 6 months. In 2007, he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and has a ventricular assisted device attached to his heart to help pump the blood to keep him alive. He has been in and out of the hospital over 11/2 years with this terrible illness. As you can imagine, John’s medical bills are astronomical and are approaching $1,000,000.00 mark and although his health insurance covers some of this, he is running out of insurance money. [/SIZE]
