Looks like Tim Horton's is looking to take over that Burger King spot that left the Village of Liverpool a few months ago

They both have horrible donuts. Actually, I haven't found a good donut without going all the way to Utica.

Well, it's all a matter of personal taste. Some folks love Dunkin' and others love Kripsy Kreme and some folks like grocery store donuts. No point in arguing over donuts!

Now you've gone to far!!!!
And coffee!!!
I agree Timmy's has decent coffee for mass market stuff. DD coffee is at best dirty dishwater.
Krispy Kremes are so disgusting<insert puking icon>. The abandoned KK building on the Blvd is a shining beacon of hope that the people of Syracuse do have taste after all.
For doughnuts Timmy's is pretty good. One of the guys I work with from Syracuse brings them in for us. Pretty darn good. DD are nasty. While not my favorite I will admit Price Chopper has a decent bakery.
But for the best doughnuts a trip to Utica, actually New Hartford, is in order. Dippin Doughntz is the best. They also have two stores in Rome. I had to take my daughter back to school Easter Sunday and was darn near in tears when Dippin was closed. They have decent coffee too. Not like Freedom of Expresso good but drinkable, like Starbucks.
Things like this are whats tough about living between two small cities. Neither is big enough to have great everything but both have some stand outs. If you live in either one you learn to live with whats available but if you travel to them its a buffet.

I worked at a DD in highschool, so I'm kinda partial to them. I'm actually not a big donut fan in general - I'd rather have a bagel or breakfast sandwich. I've never been to Tim Horton's before but I will def try them out if they do come to the Village.
And here's a funny tidbit - when I lived in Hawaii, there were NO commercial donut places on the island of Oahu. None! Maui had a Krispy Kreme so it was always common knowledge that if you were going to Maui, you would bring back donuts lol

In one sentence you just turned Hawaii from paradise to a barren wasteland.

Where I lived in California there weren't any commercial donuts either. There were tons on mom and pop shops that were usually Asian owned. In some places you could get donuts and eggrolls together for breakfast.
