The plans look pretty nice, and hopefully it will spur the owners of the neighboring complexes to do some renovations... they're not bad, but they've seen better days. And I'm more than OK with more complexes being built which slows the conversion of yet more single family houses into carved up student rentals. (Not to mention it'll improve the gateway to the neighborhood's look)

Good points and it would be nice to see more home buyers in the neighborhoods to the east of campus. I know that SU has this program: Guaranteed Mortgage Program but do you know if ESF, SUNY Upstate or Crouse Hospital have similar programs?

No idea about the others... but ESF does not.

Interesting, as I would think that it is a program that some ESF employees might be interested in. I believe that St. Joseph's Hospital may have a similar program available, but I'd have to check to make sure.
