Marcellus has a "bad" school district? I sense a troll alert. By the way, I guess this is bad: Marcellus Central School District Overview | GreatSchools

If you didn't like a more small town/rural district, you should have went with districts like J-D, F-M, Westhill, West Genesee, B'ville, Liverpool, ES-M or North Syracuse.

Syracuse always had a "blue collar" vibe to it, some people with a Phd like that ,believe it or not.
If not, the toll roads run in both directions.

I do agree that 2nd ammendment restrictons in NY are bad, but no law against a 12 gauge in the corner.

John Nash, PhD. is on a distinguished road
This is a place for people to post THEIR opinions about a particular place. If you disagree with them, post your own dang opinions.
John Nash was the mathematician / main character of the book and film "A Beautiful Mind".......

CNYDC is on a distinguished road
John, I hope you find a place that you like and can find peace. Every place has its pros and cons. Personally, I have lived in seven different states over the last 15 years and have found Central NY to have the best combination of quality of life, affordability, and school quality of anywhere. But everyone is looking for different things. Good luck!
