I looks like all decent tablets can be fantastically fun and useful. My old Nexus 7 died and it is really annoying not having it but it is out of warranty. I am looking at the Nvidia Tegra 4 Note that is supposed to be out soon. I won't buy another tablet that does not have a microSd slot.

NVIDIA Tegra Note: the Tegra 4-powered, stylus-endowed tablets arrive next month starting at $199

I was perfectly satisfied with the processing power of the Nexus 7-12 but this should be about triple that amount.

We are near the point where the tablet does not matter, it is what you do with it.

iPads do not have microSd slots and have higher prices than most Android tablets of equivalent specs. I don't want a tablet bigger than 7 inches because it must fit into my pocket.

I would like to see data on the reliability of these things. My Nexus 7 developed 2 problems in 14 months. I think this thin and light business is part of the problem.

Sorry for asking this again but I have two other questions. Hopefully these are more straightforward than my previous questions:

1. Which website sells the best comprehensive e-book list?

2. Which tablet is the most versatile in terms of what you can view and download?

Hopefully that will help. Thanks again!

I hear this from a lot of people. I don't consider a 7 inch tablet to fit "in my pocket". I have a 7 inch iPad sitting here and I just put it in my front pocket... you seriously walk around like that?

Yes, it depends on the pants. It goes easily into some and with a little difficulty into others. I have a pair where it won't go but I don't wear them any more. And I am 6 feet and 1 inch tall. I do not find it a problem. I would probably be satisfied with a 6 inch tablet with a wide ruggedized bezel. But I have not seen one with specs I like.

From now on when I go to buy pant I will take my tablet to check the fit and won't buy pants that can't hold the tablet. I wonder how long before pants manufacturers notice this.

The 7 inch iPad isn't really 7 inches by the way. It is bigger than my Nexus 7.

None are actually 7 inches. But you are right, the iPad is 4mm larger.
