They don't work unless they are GENUINE B&N chargers. Go on the B&N website and look at all of the complaints.

You can buy genuine Nook chargers on Ebay.
Nook is awesome.
I don't ever want a Kindle. I have a grudge against Samsung but the new Nooks are something that I'd still buy anyway.

Do you have a link? My sister has been trying to get one THAT WORKS with no luck. I saw one on Ebay the other day but when she went to order it yesterday, it was gone.

In the minute of research I did it looks like the incompatibility of after market cords has to do with the piece that plugs into the wall.

http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-BNRP5-...s=Nook+charger

It looks like, to me, that this piece will work with a generic cord.

You don't have to be snarky. I HAVE been researching but finding one that actually WORKS is the problem. Anyway, thanks for your help.

This is the last time I ask for help in this forum.

Ok, my dear, you SERIOUSLY took that the wrong way. *sigh...
Why do I try to help people here?

I was telling you that I only did "a minute of research" as a way to let you know that I am not 100% sure that I am correct. As in "I only took a cursory glance"...

Sure seems to be, though, from the reviews of that part.

Believe me if I was trying to be rude YOU'D KNOW IT.
