I am planning to gift a tablet that cost less than $100 to my wife on her birthday, which is tomorrow.

I cannot buy online as I could not ship them by Tomorrow....

I checked the neighboring Walmart and found the following options

1. Nextbook 7", 8 GB, 1GHz Cortez, Android 4.0, Webcam + WiFi sells for $69

2. HiSense 7", 4GB, 1.6 GHZ Dual Core, Android 4.1, WiFi sells for $79

3. Nextbook 8", 8GB, 1.5 Ghz Dual Core, Android 4.1, Webcam+WiFI which sells for $99

4. Xelio 9", 8 GB, 1 GHz, Android 4.0, Webcam + WiFi which sells for $69

5. iView 7", 4GB, 1.2 GHz, Android 4.0, Webcam + WiFi which sells for $59

Please advice which one I can go for?

Are there any other tablets which are better than the above for less than $100 which I can explore further in other shops...

Regards!

Also, I see Nook HD 16 GB, 9", 1.56GHz, Dual Core for $149 after $120 rebate.... seems to be a great deal...

I am open to increasing the budget to $150... Please advice the best/most popular tablet for less than $150

Regards!

Get the Nook. Run, don't walk.
It has a better display then the rest, it's from a brand name company. Run, don't walk.

FYI - WalMart just dropped the price of the HiSense Pro version to $129.00 Worth noting, there has been some evidence of software support from HiSense. They send out a maintenance release about three weeks ago, and there are rumors they will be offering a Andriod version update in the fall.

Either #2 or #3. I would not get a single core device.
