Currently on Groupon, there's a refurbished 10.1" 16GB, with an S Pen (for writing/editing on Adobe Photoshop software, which is included).
$270. 3 days left.

WiFi enabled, SD card slot.

I know that for many people who've posted here, the addition of a card slot is a must-have.
Still can't figure out why Nexus hasn't gotten on board (darn Cloud!).
I recall seeing this at my Costco before I got my Nexus, and I was pretty smitten. Then I thought the 10" was too big to carry around. Now I'm kind of regretting that call. But I paid my bucks for the Nexus and want to get my money's worth out of it!

Thought some of you might be interested in knowing about the Groupon deal (I have no business relationship with Groupon at all).

I've yet to run into anything on a tablet where I really wish I had an SD card. Not sure why you'd want to get a low grade knock off of the leading tablet in the marketplace. Getting an cheap price up front also doesn't matter much if the resale on the thing is garbage.

A Samsung Galaxy Note is hardly a "low grade knock off".

No one that really knows the tablet market would say that, so sorry Remoddahouse, your credibility is shot with me.
The Galaxy Note is a formidable tablet.

I am a big fan of the SD Card. I have a 16GB phone with a 32GB card in it... a 48GB phone.
I have a 16GB tablet with a 32GB Card in the tablet and a 16GB card in the keyboard dock: a 64GB tablet.

Some of us don't want to store everything in the cloud. Some of us like to have the option of expanded storage. Some of us don't have unlimited data plans. Some of us convert DVD's into video files so our kids can watch movies while we travel.
I would always rather have the option then not.

You have a 7" Nexus and want the Galaxy because you want the bigger one? That's the only reason? Might not be a bad way to go. You could buy that for $270 and probably sell your Nexus for $100, maybe $150. Then you're only paying $120-$150 for the bigger and very nice Galaxy Note.
