Just made my first purchase on my kindle.. I'm wondering does it say the name of book you purchased or does it just say "kindle book purchase" or something similar on the credit card bill? Just wondering what to look for.
Thanks

My credit card bill says "Amazon Services-Kindle" followed by a 10 digit number.

You should get an email with the book name and that 10 digit number in it. That number is the order number.

People who want to read a book still under copyright (95 years since copyright date, with some exceptions, in the US). You can also load any book off Project Gutenberg on to a Kindle as well, in a lovely, easy-to-read compact form.

You don't need Kindle if you have a kick ass library.

Install the Overdrive app and you can get books and audio books.

I have the Kindle app on my Nexus 7 tablet. I subscribe to email notices with sale and free ebooks from Amazon. Some good books are free from time to time. I only get free the books. I have over 100 of them now.
