The Nexus 7 does not have a microSD slot. I would rather have that than the higher resolution of the 2013 version of the Nexus.

I bought two tablets last night, both were the Dell Venue 8, 32 GB which normally retails for $199 is discounted to $159 right now at both Newegg and Amazon.

For an 8" tablet with decent specs and 32 GB thats a steal IMO.

That's probably the best deal out there:

Newegg.com - Dell Venue 8 - Intel Atom Z2580 Dual Core 2GB RAM 32GB Flash 8.0" Tablet Android 4.2, Black Color (Ven8-3333BLK)

Great find!

I bought a 10" Samsung Galaxy3 (32gb) at Best buy for $199. I don't know if it's a good deal or not, but....I can return it to Best Buy if it does not perform as expected.

To buy a keyboard is extra, but it is compatible with older keyboards and I can get one of those on ebay for about $30 (vs. $80 new). Plus I still have my laptop if I need to type.

Ive been searching for a touch-screen of some kind to help with my tendonitis. My daughters Kindle Fire was too small a screen. I was on Best buy shopping for a Roku box or the like to stream video on my spare tv...and I realized this will do the job as well.

You can get any bluetooth keyboard, and it should work fine with your Galaxy.

Here is one of the least expensive ones you will find:

AGPtek® Universal Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for iPhone 3 4 4S 5, iPad 1 2 3 4 iPad mini, Symbian Android Smartphones and All Tablets, Computers and Laptops : Wireless keyboard and mouse combo

We picked up two IPad Mini's last night at Walmart, $299 each, both came with a $100 gift card. We arrived before the 6PM time frame but they gave us bracelets, needless it was our first time doing the Black Friday thing and most likely be our last..........to me the deal was the best out there, and with twins we needed two.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

The 2 Dell's I bought the other night are going to my wife and daughter.

I just treated myself to a 2013 Nexus 7 16gb for $199 at Office Depot, installing Kitkat as we speak
