It's a nice speaker set, and relatively cheap. I bought one for my wife a few years ago when it cost around $100.00, and it's still working. But while the sound is clear, don't expect it to be very powerful. For a small to medium size room, or maybe for use at work on your desk it's perfect. I sometimes use it when working in my 2-car garage, and it easily fills the room with music. Just keep in mind that it's designed for the older iPads, iPhones, and iPods that have the wider plugs for charging at the base. The newer iPads and other iOS devices use a very narrow plug now. There are adapters you can use, however.
