I see the Chromecast now lets you mirror the tablet on the screen. iPads could do that for several years now with an Apple TV. That's one of the main reasons I stay with the Apple TV. Sorry that's a different topic. If you pick Android, I hope you come back and tell us which one, and if it works well.

If I wanted to spend more money it would be a no brainer....
But a Roku is significantly cheaper then a tablet. The cheapest one is $50. And it is much nicer to just use a remote to watch TV then having to use a tablet and "fling" stuff to the TV. Not to mention the 100's of other channels on a Roku...
