My wife and I both got an iPad this year it’s been about three months since we got them, so far so good.
Today it informed me that my apps needed to be updated which I did. Now I can’t open up certain apps unless I go too the App Store, nor can I change the volume the way I did before.

Help!!

Go into settings ( sounds) and make sure the volume is up and that “ change with buttons” is on. As far as your apps go.. you should delete the app and reinstall. I have no idea why they’d open in the App Store yet not open from the home screen.

They are not on the main screen anymore that’s what puzzles me. The volume is up I just can’t adjust it like I used too. Thanks I’ll try that.

Press and hold on the app you want to delete. It will start wiggling and have an X in the corner. Press the X.

You may want to stop by an Apple Store and take a class or get help.

If the apps are missing from the main screen then you need to re-download them from the app store. It won't cost you anything if you had already purchased the app in the past.

Can't help with the volume until you tell us how you used to adjust it.

Have you rebooted the iPad? First things first.. it’s a computer, after all...
