Hello all, I am preparing for a move to Tallahassee and am considering living in some of the condos near downtown/capital. In particular, The Plaza Tower at 300 S Duval St or the Tallahassee Center at 215 W College Ave. I am 33, single and without children. The location is great for me as I will be working near FSU. I would love any input on either of these places or what the night life/restaurant/attractions are like in the area. Thanks

I think either would be nice, I have toured units in the Tallahassee Center and found it beautiful. Plaza Tower just came out of bankruptcy, because it was built just prior to the recession, so their may be deals to be had over there.

Cant go wrong with either.

Harrys New orleans Restaurant is on the plaza, along with an IMAX movie Theater, and One o One and Mint, which are restaurants and bars,

You are also walking distance to Andrews, Jasmines Sushi, Jacobs on the Plaza, Avenue eat and drink, Etc Etc.

Check out Midtown for dining/Nightlife,

As Well as Gaines St, Collegetown, and All Saints for other ideas.

Either place is fine to live. But Tallahassee really doesn't have night life. It's a college town.
