Lets start with you saying "your a fool". If you are going to call someone a fool you may want to make sure you use the right form for all the words in the sentence, it is you're not your.
Lets move on to a few more of your statements.
You bring up population. A high population brings overcrowding, high crime, traffic and more. Columbia has a population of 45 million, does that mean its a great place to live? I don't think so, not with 1 person out of every 1000 mudered a year.
Dade, Broward and Palm Beach are not quite as bad, they only had 429 murders in 2006. I guess the 4 murders my county had just doesn't measure up.
Lets more on to the beaches.
I take it you don't read the paper much because there are usually 1 or 2 beaches within an hour of me that are on the best beaches list. I don't think I have ever seen Miami Beach on that list.
As far as nightlife you would have the advantage there but since I am raising children that is not really a concern to me.
Next time you might want to try and do some research on the area that is being discussed rather than just popping in with, "I don't know that area but South Florida is the best".
Is there anything else you would like me to add?

Your Spanish is almost as bad as your English.
I am done with you unless you want to discuss things in a rational manner.
This thread was about Spring Hill, Fl not Miami.

This is a thread about Spring Hill in the Tampa forum.
As I stated, if you want to rationally discuss something related to that then fine. If you don't then I have nothing further.

If you don't like it here, leave! No ones stopping you.
Can't make it on 1 job, work 2. I worked 2 jobs for years, and no one felt sorry for me! Can't find a job you like, too bad, work the jobs that are available!
If you live near any city in any state to earn more money, your cost of living will be higher! The cost of living here is lower in many ways then other parts of our state, and in other areas of this country. But if your not educated, your going to find it hard in every state. The state of Florida has a high school drop out rate of 42%.
If you move to Florida or any state in the south, your going to make less then up north, but it'll cost you less to live here too.
If your retired, you need to choose a place to live that you can afford. And usually lower priced areas have high crime rates cause criminals like to live cheaper too!
Crime in this area is 4 times lower then the Atlantic Ocean side of Florida. Do we have crime here, yes, but it seems the sheriff's dept. does a good job at keeping it in control. Check out the stats., crime is always higher by percentage in states with loose gun laws like Florida. The laws make it easier for criminals to get guns too.
Now the good, we get 365 days a yr. with no snow.
We are 60 miles from Orlando, Tampa, and St. Pete. and all their entertainment.
Our county is fairly quiet, traffic, etc., even during the day as compared with any city I've mentioned.
We have plenty of shopping, and restaurants nearby, with more being built. If you look at rt. 19 in Hernando, then look north in Citrus or south to Pasco, our county has done a much better job in controling the ugly sprawl.
You can't find a perfect area anywhere, but you can find a place right for you.

Just an FYI. Hernando County is 31 in the nation in foreclosures, there are over 3,000 counties in the US. So that puts them in almost the top 1%.
The county commisioners have a plan to get low income families into the foreclosed homes.
You want to keep that in mind. The area has really gone down hill over the last few years.
The schools are not good and they have a 25% HS dropout rate.
Lot of drugs in the area as well.
Do yourself a favor and rent for awhile. I don't think being interacial would be an issue, and I don't know where you are coming from but like I said the schools are not good.
If you are coming from up north your kids will most likely be way ahead of their peers.
I would suggest you rent for a year and if you like it then buy, I can tell you we have family there and they regret moving to Hernando County.
Check out Hernando Today online, they also have a lot of drunk drivers, hit and runs, driving without a license, etc. It is a weekly occurance with the deadly crashes and alcohol or drugs are involved most of the time. There is still alot of good ole boys mixed in with the tranplants.
Just today 3/16/09 three of the top five stories on Hernando Today involved crashes and drunk drivers.
They also have the 2nd highest unemployment in the state.
I would really take a long hard look before making it a permanent move.
