Default pinellas county

Can anyone give me any info on the towns here. I used to live in Pinellas Park in the 70's. We are looking for a place to move to. We are coming down to visit the area Jul 15th.

Also if you know of any places to stay at that don't cost alot. Maybe like $200-300 for a week, that sleeps 6.

HI. I live in St. Pete. I'd like to help you out, but I need to have a little more information. Why don't you tell us a little more about your situation and what you're looking for, then we can answer some of your questions more specifically.

Thanks

I have 3 kids 14, 5, and 2. My husband is a Co-Manager for Wal-Mart. We are looking for a place to stay for at least 7 years. We moved to SC for his job, we were desperate to get out of where we were and thought we were moving to a better place, but it turned out to be just as bad, if not worse. This time I am doing a lot of research before we choose. I am from CT and he is from NC. I like the things that CT has to offer, there are a lot things to do.
Also, I would like to know about the taxes. I know there is no state tax taken out of your pay.
So, basically I would like to know about Taxes, Things to do (other then the beach, schools, Areas to stay out of and Areas that would be great for kids.
