Yes, yes we do! Hahaha! No, just kidding. I guess just the fact that it is a statewide ordinance, that it's up to the local police to enforce it. I imagine they'd do it in the same way they'd enforce the city wide curfews for minors. If they are cruising around and see someone they think is blatantly violating the ordinance then they probably stop and question them. I imagine its more the 'threat' of a fine that keeps most from breaking the rule.

Something I found interesting, the other night I caught a show on TV about the history of Trick or treating. Not of Halloween, but the act of trick or treating. It didn't seem so much that trick or treating started as entertainment for the small kids but as something to keep the older youth/teens from causing mischief and vandalism on "mischief night" (the night before Halloween) which had gotten out of hand in the early 1900's. Hence the "Give me a treat or you'll get tricked".

what neighborhoods did y'all get the most loot from?

the one we went to this year wasnt all that great. alot of empty houses.
