Warm??????
Sorry to be posting so many negatives all at once, but I would not call Florida from May to November warm. It's miserably HOT! Then you get a break when the cool fronts start to roll in, it's nice for a couple of days then back comes the heat again. Just remember you can always add a jacket or sweatshirt when it's cold - but there's only so much you can take off.

Yes, "Warm". LOL We're still at 101 degrees right now so Fla. is "warm". Actually, I love the hot weather so that wouldn't detour me at all. It's the traffic, the crowding, and the canes that make me want to be cautious as to where I would move to.

I would have to agree on the winter months..... very nice. The summer does get hot and humid, but it is only for a few months and you plan your day accordingly.
Best of luck moving to Tampa and keep us posted! Welcome!!!

Florida definately....Maine is just too up there for me, and it gets absolutely freezing in the winter....I would take scorching sun shiny days over gloomy blizzard days anytime!!

Maine. 'Cause basically I'm a B&B, Inn, north eastern gal at heart. Meantime, I shall exile here amid the palm and coconut trees, sun and surf. LOL
But really, if I had my way, I'd own a place in Maine and Florida. How's that for having it all?
