Cruise Land Jobs
Hello there,
This is a great forum, with lots of info! I've seen some posts here about cruise ship employment, but they weren't exactly what I was looking for. I am 40-ish female looking to relocate to Florida sometime in future, not sure when. I would like to work FT for a cruise company upon relocation and I already know most of the jobs are in Miami/Fort Lauderdale (I've been watching the postings).
I really prefer the Gulf side of FL and have been there numerous times - Tampa, SPB, Clearwater, etc. I was wondering if anyone here from the Tampa area knows anyone in the Tampa area who has a cruise land job, not aboard the ship, and if so, whereabout do they live? What is the best area to live if one is working at the port?
I know these jobs are no where near as plentiful as Miami, but that is they choice I would have to make. I just love the Gulf side. So I'm just trying to get some preliminary info to see if this is even possible. Any details are appreciated. Thank you,
