So in the last two seasons, the Bulls have beaten both FSU and U of Miami. Next the Gators - that may take awhile.

Nice to see the Bulls not give up in the end, and win it in OT. Looking forward to future seasons with Skip Holtz as he puts his stamp on this team.

I've enjoyed going to most of their home games - a great experience, cheap tickets.

Oddly enough there hasn't been any shared enthusiasm thus far for a winning Tampa Bay area team...

It is good to see the USF program evolving, especially after those great starts in recent years followed by a 5 game losing streak, frustrating! With the U of Miami and UF having off years and the recent coaching change at UM, recruiting should be on the rise which might help in securing some offensive/skill player talent.

And it cost the Miami coach is job.

Tons of talent all over Florida to be had and Holtz has learned to go after some of that talent.

Miami wa good in the 1990's because they were able to grab up all the better talent in Florida. Florida and USF have in the past several years been able to get that talent to go somewhere besides Miami.

Miami football team killed itself a few years back when they were out attacking people with their helmets, any decent kid with athletic ability probably wont be going to Miami instead will be heading to Florida, Fla St and yes, even USF.

Holtz is getting into some prime recruiting areas of Florida that the bigger schools kinda forgot about.

Its great to see USF get the win; however, there will always be big time recruits eager to go the "the U". They consistently bring in top recruiting classes and have consistently produced more NFL players than any other college in the country. Besides, what adolescent boy doesnt want South Beach in their backyard? USF remains 4th tier in Florida which is what makes their recent victories that much sweeter..

You might want to double check that claim-they still attract some of the best talent in the country and state and many times send more to the pros than the other Florida schools. Miami will be back.

I already did, Miami had a player drafted in the first round of the NFL draft every year from 1994 to 2008. None that last two years.

In 2009 only 1 player was drafted and 2010 they had a only a total of 4 players drafted. A huge drop of so that talent has went elsewhere.

Florida and Florida State has had numerous players drafted in the last 2 years including. Even USF has had some top 30 players drafted.

I did not say they would not be back, I said they were in the decline and they are. They will be back in time but it will take a while as the Miami program is a total mess.

It seems to me that USF has produced a few first round draft choices, on defense, lately.

I read somewhere today that the last time a Univ of Miami player scored a TD in the NFL has been nearly a decade. Does that say a lot about Miami producing NFL players?

Yeah, you're right-the Hurricanes have never produced any NFL caliber players. Or Hall of Fame quarterbacks. Never won any National Championships either. Or Heisman Trophy winners. Or won any College World Series. Can't expect a private school with only 15,000 students to compete with Florida (50,000 students) or FSU (40,000 students). What was I thinking?

I think you mean it's been almost ten years (8) since an ex-Hurricane FAILED to score a touchdown during Sunday NFL.
