Not really....I love having all 4 seasons...FL's weather is just miserable, you have two seasons, hot and hotter. Not fun at all.

Yeap. No fun at all. And those that retire to or move to tropical islands far more humid and far more hot than Florida must sure not know what they're missing!

... or maybe it is that they DO know what they're missing, and that's exactly the point!

You can ride along with the Oakland County road commission. I don't see anyone out shoveling M-10.

When you live in the South you're a Southerner regardless of where you or your ancestors came from.

Florida is in the South.

Depends also on your age. My "old" bones like to get warm... and no, I don't have the same standards as some of you.

But NO, EVER, I will put 20 layers of sweaters etc... on, snow shoes or boots, gloves, hat and the likes. And It is very well known that people get depressed and suicidal in cold weather (p.

Waiting here for the next storm that you, Northern friends, are sending . Then, at last, our summer, and A/C at night. .

I was talking about the forums on city data. The Boston Herald is about sensationalism. They're in the business of selling news. What else would they report?

Of course media will complain because thats how they sell news. Add some doom and gloom and you have yourself a audience. I doubt any of you complain when there is a hurricane warning, shrug your shoulders and go on about your day. Now turn on the TV or paper and they try to find the doomsday scenario and how bad it can be. Same deal with people in northern states, hell me and my brother used to go play paint ball when schools/work had snow day. Yes it makes drive a little more difficult and you have to be more attentive, but it's just snow, it will melt eventually.
