First let me start with, I like fairs. Maybe I like them because my kids like them so much.... heck I dunno. I like the fair food, the noises, rides and different crafts and merchandise you can buy. I enjoy the the entertainment, no matter how silly or ridiculous it is.

Alaska has an great state fair, it must be on one of the better ones in the nation. How is the Florida State Fair? Is there anything that one shouldn't miss when attending and any tips on where to park, etc? I have been to the Florida State Fair website, please do not give me links to their site.

Well, the Florida State Fair certainly meets all of those requirements. I think they have the pig races and stuff. It's pretty fun, though I haven't been in a few years. Certainly worth at least one visit to check it out. I think they have certain nights where you can get discount wristbands and stuff. There's also the Strawberry Festival in March, I think, which is just a smaller version of the fair.
