Default Moderately priced dog friendly condo/villa near Dunedin

Hi all,

We are looking to purchase a moderately priced condo/villa (under 80k) in the Dunedin area that allows full-sized dogs. So far the only dog-tolerant community we have found in that price range is the Fountains at Countryside. We are a bit hesitant about the Fountains because of its apartment-style living - we’re not sure a bigger dog in an apartment will really work. We would rather have a bit more separation from our neighbors, hence our desire for a villa-style community. Highland Lakes looks to be very nice but the sections allowing dogs are priced too high for winter-only use. Can anyone offer other suggestions?

Thanks.

I've never had more of a problem having a big dog in the apartment style condos. It's aggressive dogs that are a bother.

Maybe try zillow.com and search Pinellas County FL for condos?

We saw one complex that we quite liked, but it was out in Countryside which was too far away for us. It had a little dog run, even. I'm sorry, I've lost the information about the name of the devleopment. It was east of hwy 19 I believe, but not far, and a bit north of Main (580). Basically north of the Countryside Mall is what I remember. It seemed like a very nice townhouse complex, sorry I can't remember the name. If you can find a search engine that lets you specify that pets are allowed, you should be able to search that area.
