Hi

We are coming in April and the rays will be in town for some games.
I checked the rays site and there are explanations for tropicana field parking but I am still a little confused.
Will it be easy to find parking? Yes I will pay but would like if possible to stay within $15. We don't have to park at the venue either, private parking is fine even with a small walk.
We drive a ford expedition so yes it's larger (Atlanta charges more for larger cars usually.)
If you could provide exact address or directions to a trustee affordable parking that would be great.
Also can we bring a small bag/cooler inside the venue with snacks (Atlanta braves allow that)?

Thanks a lot

Patrick

Park at the stadium, why walk further.
Last time I went parking was $10.

Mike

Thanks, $10 at the stadium is indeed great. Their site does not mention that.

Thanks

Patrick

You should be able to find parking easily.
The closer to the actual stadium the more expensive it will get, but you should be able to find $10-15 dollar private lots around the stadium.

I'm not sure how much stadium parking is, but last year they let the first 100 cars with 4 or more people park for free. So that's an idea also, but I'm not sure if they're still doing that. Have fun!

Parking at the stadium is not bad...but you can find some street parking for free to the north of the stadium, if you don't mind looking.

If you are going to an evening game and plan on having a nice dinner beforehand, you can park on Central at a meter east of 6th St, have dinner at one of the many restaurants, and then parking is free after 6. It's about an 8 block walk.

We park at a downtown garage for $5. An open air trolly stops right outside the garage and drops you off right at the front door of the Trop. The ride over is quick and tends to be a lot of fun too.

After the game you just ride the trolley back and either drive home or hang out a while and walk to one of the many great restaurants/bars downtown.
