Just a whole nother world from Danashores to MOST of the west Pasco area.
Seems even Danashores has it's share of empty homes at this time. When my parents bought our home in 1963 most of Danashores was empty lots and homes on the water were going for around 24k.

We have a rental in Westport and no issues reported....again what is your point...just to scare people with your biased views.

What is your real issue?
$ 400.- rental could be right for a small studio or a private LL who is in foreclosure and wants to scam someone.
Even a 790 sqft house was rented out by us for $ 575.00.
|
I'm sure none of the small 2bedroom shoeboxes in Westport are renting anywhere near $900 to 1200 a month. I could see $575. I have seen some homes that are being rented out as low as $400 a month, not sayng 400 a month is the norm.
If i had 4 small homes just sitting and could not sell them and needed money i would flat out rent them for $400 a month as that is better than $0 a month.

But your posts imply otherwise.
As I stated, every city will have $400 rentals. That does not mean that the rest of the area is a drug infested hellhole.
You made a bad choice and that is what this is all about.

The address is .... Westport drive....I'm not going to give out more information due to privacy issues with the tenants.
We all know the horror stories of owners/LL who are in foreclosure and still rent out their homes although it is against the law....mostly you can say "if it is too good to be true it usually is.
The one on Westport rents for $ 685.- btw...the others are also in the area.
Chasls2, you really try to sell B.S. and make it out to be like West Pasco is an entire bad area....if you live there, I suggest you move so that might help.

Westport drive is a rough street, just look at all the trash on the streets, and in the yards. Plus there must be 10 empty homes on Westport drive. You know as well as i do it's not pretty. I will be back in Danashores once the paper work is done.

I have said the same thing numerous times, that still does not make all of West Pasco bad. And it is a few select homes in that neighborhood, the majority in that neighborhood are law abiding, non drug users.
I am sorry that many of them do not have the nice new car like you and you have to drive by their junkers but that does not make them trash as you would like to label them.
I think West Port and West Pasco will be much better off pretty soon.

We have investors who turning the areas around. They are buying them...approx 3 every week and in this rate it will be much nicer sooner and the investors are very happy and smart...
They knew when to buy and when to stop Chasl2 didn't, and is now negative about everything. Others think different.
We have a client who also bought a lot of them at the wrong time but we rented them all out and he is awaiting a turn by not whining but actively, fixing them, and renting them and we 100% of his propeties rented out.
None of them for $ 400.00 and many of them in the area you describe and none of the renters are complaining and all them have passed a background check and all of them are hard working people!
So stop whining and start doing something!
