We are planning to move to Clearwater/Tampa area this summer. Our job will be in Clearwater (11 miles from Tampa airport). Looking for good school district (kids in elementary). public vs. private?? are there any pockets with good community and great public schools in the area? Initially looking to rent.
Commute of about ~30 min should be acceptable.
Is there an Indian community in Clearwater area??

Looking for advice. Thanks.

I think you will find that most of the public schools in north Pinellas County are good or very good. You might want to check out Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, or the Countryside area of Clearwater for starters.

I believe you will find that many ethnicities are represented here, including Indian. Sometimes it isn't obvious though just from looking around since folks are often spread out over a large area.

If your budget allows, the Countryside area in Clearwater is nice.

Safety Harbor is an excellent choice, as is East Lake/Oldsmar where I think you'll be more likely find to a more diverse community. The East Lake School District is excellent, as East Lake High School is the only school in the region to receive a grade of "A" the past several years in a row. There really isn't a concentration of Indians/Pakistanis in the area so I would lower the standing of that criteria as it won't really lend itself to narrowing down for you.

You'll certainly find Indians all over the Tampa Bay Area, but that's just it: they're all over. There aren't any defined Indian neighborhoods like there are with black, white, and Hispanic neighborhoods. The Asian community is the same way down here.
