Good rental realtors/property mgmt comps to deal with?
Hello all ...
My wife and I will be relocating to Tampa at the end of June and our goal is to rent a house for the first year. Although the house rental market looks to constantly have a lot coming on and going off (rent.com, etc) we're hoping to find a good realtor or property mgmt co to work with so that we know we're renting a good, clean, well maintained house.
Our company has an office in Oldsmar so preliminarily we've been looking for rental houses in Oldsmar/Westchase/Town 'N' Country. We will both be working from home most days so we'd also been told to consider the Riverview/Brandon areas.
We've been vacationing in Tampa for years and my wife has family in Lakeland so we're relatively familiar with the Tampa area but would still like to deal with someone no the ground we know we can trust.
Any recommendations?

If you're considering Brandon/Riverview, I highly recommend Century 21 Acclaim in Brandon. They are our managment company for the house we rent. They are so nice, very responsive. The owners of this house are military out of state, so they use Century 21 Acclaim to manage the property.
When our house was attempted to be broken into back in November, one of the realtors was over here before we even knew about it (we were out at a class) and had installed new door locks the next DAY as well as adding an additional deadbolt and chain. I cant rave enough about how awesome they are.

You might want to check out TBO.com and look for rental homes and who is advertising them.

I highly DO NOT recommend All County Property Management. No matter how appealing the rental may be, dealing with ALL County is not worth it. They will take advantage of you and ignore your issues. I am a single female with excellent credit, renting a home for over $1500/ month. I have never had any issues with any rental I've ever been in until now. Please go with someone else, you do not want to have your new home experiences ruined by a low life, negligent management company.
