I am interested in hearing from any homeowners who are currently living in or have owned a Suarez home, especially if you are in the Bloomingdale area.

We are actively searching for a new home, and some of the homes we see were built by Suarez. A number of these homes seem to be lacking in amenities that were standard for most builders we are familiar with, for example, sprinkler systems(!)

We can't help but wonder if there are other issues in general building practices where corners might have been cut....the more of these we see the more concerned we become...

TIA,

RM

I don't live in a Suarez home but I do live in Wesley Chapel which had a lot if new construction in the past 10 years. Most houses are built according to the buyer's specifications, so if amenities are lacking it means the original owner didn't pay for them. I can tell you that sprinklers are not included in the base price of most newly constructed homes. If you're looking at an inventory house, builders usually put basic stuff in those because the thought was that someone that needed a house quickly would buy it and later upgrade what they didn't like.

I wouldn't take the lack of upgrades as a sign of poor construction.
