Default Considering a move in a couple years

Ok, so to start with the basics

Not sure where employment will be-will be trying to take a package from current company and look for a company that offers a couple days virtual at least

Budget: up to $250K max to purchase-preferring home with pool and a decent 4 bed/around 2000sq ft.

Schools are a very big concern. By the time we arrive my boys will be close to entering or entering high school. I'm moving from GA because of our neighborhood changes and bad schools so it's very important. We've had crime increases, etc.

Acceptable commutes are around 30-40min.

Being near the water is great but am willing to be further in-land for better home prices.

I've done some reviews on greatschools for the schools there. The ones that seemed a bit better were Newsome/Bloomingdale and then Plant and Sickles.

I think Plant HS area homes might be something we can't afford though. So..any experience w/the other three by location/neighborhood, etc.

[LEFT]What is the distance to the beach from the neighborhoods with the Newsome-bloomingdale schools?

Open to suggestions as I've been to the area a few times and plan to make a few more trips before moving. Will have to adjust to the heat but our summers in GA aren't that much better AND we have NO nice beaches.

Also-another question...what is the difference between deed restricted and hoa?

I'm more thinking along the lines of neither of those. My husband will likely be working on something at any given time in the garage (bikes-jetski-etc) and I think these might restrict that.

Ok-trying to add a few more things, I'm sure I'll have more questions. Are there any people that can respond about the cost of living difference between GA and FL, groceries, insurance costs, utilities, etc?

BUMP...any help from locals? If going by first post we add to the factors preferred; a non HOA neighborhood.
