lol-- talk about profiling-- Miami chicks just high end, and high maintenance. I know I have daughters in law, all from there. But they stay pretty and kept up. Tampa more simple but when they get older, they do not primp at all.

So true! but its the different cultures, tampanians dont feel the need or pressure to look a certain way or dress a certain way like south floridians do, when in rome...you know theyre so laid back Im sure most of them have never heard of varvatos, ferragamo, or yigal azrouel

tampa was voted one of the worst dressed cities in the u.s. a few years ago ...miami would never in a million years be high on a list like that. although the girls in miami are taking it too far with the stretchy jogging/ yoga pants...those need to go, too many girls just wearing those around like theyre regular pants but Im sure guys arent complaining

I am one of the best dressed at my job- here they wear straggly hair, no makeup and wear the same clothe like they going to walk in the park- that's fine with me, but I won't change,,, I can tell you my mom, at 75 was forced to take off her heels, or pumps- we finally got her to wear old people shoes with the cushions etc so she would not fall. I do not feel pressured, it is who I am. I dress professional- and have my hair kept up and make up and always wear some jacket, or nice sweater etc. I can dress down just as easy, but always be well pressed and clean. My daughters in law have the same thinking, and my sons are very happy with that, and my grands are following suit. My 4 yr old grandson has to make sure his "Spidey" shirt matches his shorts and socks lol. He is very picky. This does NOT mean we are not down to earth, I love fishing with worm or bait, crabbing, walking through trails used to have a small veg garden and even some chickens, and had my own motorcycle,,,so can't always judge the book by the cover,
