You are incorrect. As mentioned elsewhere in this post, the Crosstown Expressway does not offer cash payments.

To use a SunPass, Thirfty wants to charge me $36.99/weekly plus $6.99 daily (we are going for 8 days) for a total of ~$44 for unlimited toll use.
Alamo, National or Enterprise would charge me $6 for the duration plus tolls. I don't really see myself using $38 in tolls.
Oh well, looks like I can use cash/coins at the toll booths I'm using and I won't worry about this.

Really the only roads you have to worry about paying tolls on around Tampa Bay are the Crosstown Expressway and Veterans Expressway. Thank you! I was hoping someone would be able to jump on and tell me all will be well and I don't have to deal with getting yet another thing handled when I don't land until really late at night. I can easily avoid the Crosstown for just about anywhere we'll be going.

Obviously then its a road with restricted access to Sunpass holders only and should have signs prominently displayed advising motorists of its restrictions.If you dont have a sunpass steer clear..

I was there a week ago, and I just got a bill from enterprise for all my toll fee's. One of the first things I will do when i get there is get a SunPass.
