Hello,

I have been posting about my move to SH/PH and will be moved in July 1st. I love to weight train and am currently a triathlete and mountain bike racer. Any suggestions on nice gyms that offer spin class, child watch and a wide range of equipment. Not really looking into a place that offers pool, basketball or tennis courts since they tend to be expensive but if the price is right I will consider. My budget is about 30-40 dollars a month. Been looking into Family Fitness and might even consider Anytime Fitness for the hours. Based on some searches it looks like I should steer clear of Lifestyle in Clearwater but not sure if the complaints are a small group. My wife will also be joining.

thanks

I would like to say McMullen and 590 but I may be wrong, there is a gym that many people use. I personally wasn't a member but you could check it out. We used YMCA until recently because of many things that they provide such as a Friday night baby sitting for just $10 for four hours. You can't beat that.

Also, many people may not be aware about this but that if you live outside of clearwater but work in clearwater you can have one of the cheapest membership (I use to pay something like 100 or so a YEAR!) and you can have access not only for a gym (the quality is not good) but also swimming pool and other activities like tennis, basketball and my favorite table tennis (I play competetive table tennis). I used it as a pass for table tennis membership.

You are in THE place for triathlon. We do have the competitions too here. I guess you now that.

Have fun!

You have been a huge help amongst a few others in my move and info on the area. Thanks so much and yes I am aware the triathlons are abundant down there.

My challenge will be doing some mountain biking since I am in an area that is awesome for it. There's a half dozen near tampa that have great trails from what I have read.
