I've been surprised (and pleased) at the lower temps in July so far. That said, being in and out of my vehicle a lot, I've been soaked repeatedly - lol. My grass looks good, though!

Yes, it's very hot up north. For instance, in Philly it's hitting 95+ today but with the humidity they say it's going to feel around 102 / 103....

Pretty damn humid today - sweatin' all over the place - really wears you out doing stuff out there (ie tennis, exercise).

Okay, you guys!!!!! Enough bragging about your rainfall. We are in a worse drought in Texas since the 50's and triple digit heat since late May early June! aaaaggggghhhhh.

We are stuck in a reverse west wind flow. Thank the 89 degree gulf temps for the insane dewpoints.

Email from a friend in Dallas told me they really need rain but didn't mention triple digits already. It usually waits a little longer to get that high. She requested some of our rain and I'm doing all I can with a rain dance for Texas.

CBS Evening News (national) just led off their broadcast w/ drought and heat waves being a big problem in the USA. They just had a map of the USA showing the regions hit - most of the south, central and east......except a big green spot on the TB area (YEAH!). Feel bad for the rest of the US, but it nice to have the rain here.
