We live in a new community there was recently built a house next to us. When they graded the land it;s virtually on a small hill now and there is constantly standing water between the two properties. This seems to be a problem thruout the area the water is up to your ankles in some areas between houses. I'm new is this common doesnt it lead to disease carrying insects or your land sinking in?
Next--somehow this slope has rerouted the water and when it rains a portion of our yard is flooded for a significant time. Can I make the builder regrade or something.
Lastly someone bought the property and never moved in the builder rented the place for a family they had to displace for a while should I contact the owner of the property and how would i fibd that address? My property is off warrantee and I have had builder problems before and they arent very responsive.
