Original Poster,

If you are working in Riverview and plan on working there for along time, do not move to Pinellas County. The commute will be brutal.

If you find a home in an older neighborhood that has no deed restrictions (or lax restrictions) you will most likely be able to put in a circular drive. This would be a great way for you to be able to park 4 vehicle in your drive, no problem.

Large lots come at a premium. Older homes have larger garages. When looking at homes I would be looking at home pre-2000, probably pre-1990 to find what you want. Good Luck.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions. My hubby is starting to second guess the move now. He still loves the idea of warm weather but now he is hesitant based on finding a job, kids schools, leaving all our family and friends and the change in general. We are both happy here and both have great jobs. The reason for our move was because I was offered a transfer plus relocation money so we could afford to do it. Now he is wondering if it's worth it to 'try' something new when we have it good here in MI.

UGH! Now I don't know what we are going to do. I am waiting to see what he has to say when the snow starts flying. I am going to repost this to see if this is normal for people relocating.
