I have had metro pcs for 6 years. 5 years of it strictly Detroit and last one year Detroit and Pinellas County. I love it. I have 4g and always have fast loads on my LG 4g phone. I also have mobile hot spot so when wifi is not around (like in my condo) I turn on hotspot and surf from my tablet or notebook...again, very fast! I pay $45 monthly and could not be happier. Only issue is when you are not around a major population (Like Detroit or Tampa) you lose 4g and it drops to 2x many times, especially on the highway between large cities. Oh yeah...also, I have never (yes never) had a call drop in 6 years. Hard to believe but true. My friends with Sprint and T-mobile and even Verizon all have had many drops over the years...not me with Metro

It's all the same 4 carriers not matter who they are, Verizon, sprint, att, T-Mobile. Metro is t mobile unless you have a really old phone then you are in their legacy cdma towers, boost is sprint, the Wal-Mart brand I forget their name is either att or Verizon, depending if you choose the red or blue map. It might be geto but why pay 100 when you can pay 45

My wife and my 2 kids have Metro PCS, or POS, as we call it.
Sometimes text messages come in days later.
Coverage is poor outside of Tampa Bay Metro.
She is shopping for a new plan and company also.
She will not stay with M POS much longer.

My wife just upgraded to a new iPhone 5s for me from AT&T. SAMs club $97 and they waived the upgrade charge. Have been a AT&T customer or a long time. She is grandfathered in to unlimited data, and rollover minutes. I love the phone and service is great. AT&T was the first one to offer the iPhone. The 5s is a really nice phone and the fingerprint security is very nice.
