KEMOZ is on a distinguished road
Default Short Term Housing

Does anyone know of any affordable short term housing/apartments/hotels, for stay of about 21-30 days? preferrably near the New Tampa areas (33647 zip) or Lutz, Westchase, Carrollwood, Wesley Chapel. We may have a renter for our home in MI and the move in date isn't until Oct. 1st. We kinda want to get there now before the "retiree rush" plus we are finding that alot of the 3 bdrm apts are already filled. So now we want to look at homes--and need the short term lease until we find something.

Any suggestions?

Many apartments won't rent for less than 7 months, since shorter rentals are subject to sales tax. You might look on Craigslist and see if someone selling their home is looking for a temp tenant, and you might also post on the housing wanted section as well.

Interim housing is expensive. We put most of our house hunting corporate relocators up at Main Sail Suites in Tampa Mainsail Tampa Suites Hotels: Tampa Corporate Housing Tampa Extended Stay Hotels
because it's centrally located.

You can also try Extended Stay hotels Extended Stay Hotels - showcases hotel suites, discount lodging and short term housing.
they have a couple of locations around Tampa.

Or if you want to get the sand out of your system, a 30 day rental on the beach ($600 - $1250 per week) could be had in one of the many condotels but short term housing is hoteling and the by-the-night rates are high. We don't handle those but you can look up any agency on the beach and chances are good they can help you.

Good luck to you!

Execustay by Marriott, Towneplace Suites by Marriott are two options that specialize in short term. The former uses aprtments, the latter is a hotel with apts.
