Default Commute advice

Hi there,
We are looking at houses in both the Lutz and Westchase areas. Does anyone have any advice on the commute time from both those areas to right next to the Raymond James Stadium during rush hour? I'm trying to figure out how bad it might be. Also, we are also potentially looking into New Tampa area.

Thanks for all your help!!

It really depends on where you are at in Westchase or Lutz, but in general I would say they both would be between 30 - 40 mins during rush hour. As far as New Tampa, it depends on if you are in Tampa Palms or further north towards Live Oak, but maybe 40-50 mins.

Westchase is at least 40 minutes if you leave work at 5 pm from office area across from the stadium. If you leave between before 5 pm you can make it to Westchase in 25 minutes if there are no accidents. Morning commute is about the same depending on the time you leave for work.
I always liked to get to work early so I had time to get coffee etc and I could make it in 20 minutes, the later I left the longer it took..

If you're working near Raymond James, why not look at the Carrollwood area?

We didn't like Carrolwood as much as we did Lutz and Westchase areas. Part of it is that we want a newer house and most of Carrollwood is more established.
