I just heard it on the news this morning! I couldn't believe it....something good actually happening! Hooray for Pinellas County and the health of all its residents.

I will believe my dentist with a medical degree over a bunch of tinfoil-hat wearing conspiracy theorists. These are the same people that think that immunizations are a threat to our children.

Of course flouride is dangerous at high doses. EVERYTHING is. Go eat 100 "harmless" aspirins and see what happens.

When we moved to Palm Harbor in 97 I thought I was told there was no flouride in the water and I would get my kids a flouride treatment at Cobbe Dental.Who drinks the water from the tap anyway??We never do!

"Who drinks water from the tap?"...people who are smart enough not to buy bottled water.

As I said...do some research. If that's too much trouble for you, go read your tube of toothpaste.

I'm sorry I have seen too many water main/boil alerts to trust drinking tap water in this area!I don't find it to be a waste of money when it means the health of my children!

We filter from the tap, but that doesn't remove fluoride, as far as I know.

According to what I saw on the news yesterday, the actual problem was that there was too much fluoride in the water, considering that most people use fluoridated toothpaste. I think they should have just reduced the amount.

This apparently does not affect the city of St. Pete.

Good news for Pinellas County. Hopefully other areas of the state will wake the hell up and realize the dangers of flouride.
