Me an my girlfriend are planning to relocate to Florida around March. I'm excited because I'm looking forward to this being my last winter. I'm so over the snow and cold. With that being said, we were looking in the St Pete and Clearwater area. Were looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom townhouse in a good but not too high priced area to rent. Any suggestions? Also, I assume Clearwater is further away from the Tampa airport. How long of a commute would that be on average?

If you have actually looked at a map of the area you wouldnt be making the assumption that Clearwater is further away from the Tampa Airport than St Pete..
Commute to airport from Clearwater at morning rush hour, budget an hour..

Being close to 275 (or the Courtney Campbell from Clearwater) is what can really determine the commute time to the airport. When I lived in St. Pete, I worked at the airport and my commute time was 24 minutes.....but I was fairly close to 275. If I had lived closer to say the Tyrone Mall, it would have been closer to 40. Being further East in Pinellas makes more difference than being further North.
