Does your boyfriend's father live in the Tampa area?

If so, why don't you and your boyfriend move in with him? Why can't he help you two out a little financially?

You live in Florida, right? Just "good luck" is not going to help her at all. Can you do something?

What do you recommend? I'd be happy to help out.

It's a shame you don't live in Texas, If you apply for food stamps in Texas as a homeless person, they give you a card on the spot and they load it within 48 hours.

Maybe Florida's food stamp program has a program like that ?

I was thinking some healthier choices like warm meal (that has veggies in it) and some hot soup. Keep in mind, they live in a car and don't have access to stove and microwave in order to get warm food.

They must have some kind of camping stove..
And if i dropped by with a bucket of chicken i really doubt they would turn it down if they are hungry..I'd also consider it kind of discourteous to ask for food on the web then get picky and choosy about what people might bring over..
Maybe if the op clarified what they want or dont want in the way of food i'm sure theres enough people on the Tampa forum that could drop by and help them out.

My response was to bump the thread to get responses from people who know about food ministries in the area.

thousands of Americans if not hundreds of thousands of Americans are in the same situation - would like to help them all out, but that's not possible.

She did not "get picky and choosy." It was me who suggested something healthy and warm.
