If your budget is $1200/mo, you are SOL if a 30 minute commute is an absolute requirement...

I can't believe that is true. There HAS to be 3/2 rental housing for my budget that is within 30 min. commute time to Tampa.

I can tell you that at 5 pm it can take 45 minutes to go 9 miles. Many companies offer their employees flex hours to help with rush hour.

If your wife wants a pool then you probably are going to have to make concessions. Seminole Heights is an older neighborhood close to Downtown. Seminole Fl is in Pinellas County too far from downtown.

I think Algia has come up with a great way to show the distances. Rep to her.

It is the same here, rush our is rush hour, too many cars out, not much you can do about it.

It used to take me less than 15 minutes from Lutz (Cheval) to Busch Blvd at 10AM, and my husband would take 45+ minutes around 5:30pm.

Map wise, if you look at it, and can't read the street names, you know its far.

If this is apartments, we aren't cut out for apartment life. Just not enough privacy, hearing people's tv's, hard-walkers upstairs, people yelling, parties, etc.....isn't something we're willing to deal with.

However, if it's a neighborhood/community, then that's a different story.
